Ah the joy of blogging! Last week I share my desire to become a blogger, especially about the adventure's of what goes on in the studio, along with some memorable customer moments.
i
As I reflected back on the, first thing that comes to mind is the heat. If you are not ready for summer, move over, because it's here in full force.
We ordered some great pieces for the garden, of which I can't wait to get painted. While working in my own garden, it seems it was void of yard art. So my first piece will be a garden stake. Where does one go to get some great design ideas? I know if Pinterest is the suggested solution, work will never get done. Really love the site! If you have created some great garden piece you would be willing to share, please upload a photo and share with our readers.
After last year's drought, I have been reluctant to plant anything, but will appreciate any special gardening tips you may have done to conserve doing the drought.
Keep gardening...

New Year Vision
It's a New Year, a New President and new changes are taking place in the studio. I joined a Facebook group which was interesting and I'm still trying to learn how to navigate the site. We have added some great new products to the shelves and reduced some prices to help our customers during this time of economical distress. In addition we are adding more family friendly activities to the calendar.
The annual survey has been sent and we are working hard to adddress all the suggestions listed. But the most exciting part of the survey was the comments for our slogan contest. I have posted those slogans sent on the board for our walk in customers can provide their input. We hope others will send in their ideas. Will keep you posted
P.S. Will make an effort to keep this updated.

Tye Dye Event - July 8
Hello to all. This is the guardian of the innerchild speaking. We had a wonderful day at the store and saw some very creative artist in the store today. Two of my guest sat quietly in the corner and chatted for hours, and even created some great art pieces. Also, we had several kids stop by today to take advantage of the Tye Dying Activity. There energy and creativity was high. We learned the Yellow really rocks. I must tone that one down a little or provide sunglasses for everyone. The kids challenged me to come up with some neat tye dye patterns. The challenge is on.
FedEx and UPS both came today and we received some great new projects that I'm hoping my guest will get really excited about.
Summer is going great and I'm looking forward to a great week of activities. Hopefully some of my long time regulars will stop by even if it just to chat.
